A parcel....for me???

How excited was I this morning when I heard a knock at the door and saw it was the post man , and he had a parcel in his hand.

Ooohhh I thought what can this be

As far as I could remember I had not ordered anything, then it clicked.....on Friday (i think) I went on the Time to Change website and ordered some literature. I ordered all sorts, bookmarks, leaflets etc....this is what came

Now when I ordered them I was determined to distribute them....even though I am socially anxious and know it will be a real challange for me :(

Now they have come, I feel less determined....HOWEVER I will be distributing them, I am going to devise myself a small plan which will indicate, where I am going to distribute them to and also when........PHOTOS WILL FOLLOW

wish me luck!!

Card Making with my Daughter

Alisha is finishing Nursery next week on the 14th August, it will be a very strange day for Alisha, Myself and all the Aunties (nursery nurses) because Alisha has attended this Nursery full time since June 2005 when she was 6 months old, and has become extremely close to 1 of the Aunties especially.

Therefore I decided I would make a thank you card for the nursery...BUT Alisha had other ideas......she wanted to make an individual card for her favourite Aunty.....(Auntie Jane) along with a Birthday card for Aunty Jane as it is her Birthday next week. Alisha then wanted a card for all the Aunties and also a card just for the Aunties in the pre school room. We also made a small gift bag which has a framed photo of Alisha in....which we are giving to Auntie Jane.

So as you can probably guess my hours worth of card making turned into 3 hours worth, along with the tidying up and cleaning of the glue marks off my laminate floor!!

1st August - A FRESH START

OK 2nd time lucky here we go :)

We went for a walk (well we drove and then walked.....usually we just walk but it was to wet!!) to a local place called Wycoller.....this is a beautiful place where it is usually quiet and does not get to busy (ideal for anxiety sufferers) especially when it is wet, it is even quieter. Im not sure if you can tell from the picture BUT Wycoller was where the opening scenes of what used to be Emmerdale Farm was taken, for any old soap fans it is where the landrover drove through the water. I had an ok afternoon, not to much anxiety - just depressed and even the country side does nothing for me at the minute.

OK.....so I have hit a dry patch :(

I have been a bit hit and miss (well more miss really) in relation to my 365 Days of Pictures. I sometimes (well most of the time) feel that my life has nothing worth photographing in....which looking back now is a load of Bollocks!!!!

So as of today I am starting over, having a 2nd try and hopefully being more sucessful........wish me luck :)

The Gravy Yard

You may wonder why its called the Gravy Yard rather than a Graveyard. My daughter has called it the Gravy Yard ever since she could speak....and now the name has stuck.

Rightly or wrongly I love our local cemetry, it is so quiet and tranquil and its very rare you can hear any traffic, and the majority of the time you dont see a soul, it is also really handy for me, because I can get there by walking along the beck bottoms and through a field, so no main roads or people to see......

this picture was taken later in the day on Sunday, my daughter is looking for Bunny Rabbits...and early evening is the best time to see them!!!

Husbands Birthday Cake

I made this cake for my husbands birthday today....it actually tasted ten times better than it looks!!!! The obvious child like design was for the benefit of my daughter (hence the smarties and flower candles)

No Fear

My daughter has no fear (unlike me). She had just been for her 2 hour induction at primary school, and wanted to go the park and for a picnic. I wish i was brave enough to climb to the top :)
